Where to start with our Cornwall adventure? We knew it was going to be an incredible experience from the moment we first stepped off the plane and were greeted by our very own “The Lous photo fun” sign, to then meet Kirsty and Dave laden down with groceries to stock pile our cottage during our stay at The Green in Rilla Mill.
Kirsty & Dave along with their gang, seriously know how to party and their wedding was a true reflection of the type of people that they are – amazing! Beginning with an intimate outdoor ceremony on the lawn where they said their own tearful vows in front of their closest friends and family. It was one of most individual weddings we have ever been too. From the cake made from scones using pink lemonade (it doesn’t make sense to us either – but believe me it works!) to ‘Snow Bear’, to Tottenham Hotspur everything and origami birds. Their personality just flowed through every detail.
They then headed into their reception where they had their brilliant speeches in-between courses of their ‘taste and share’ platters. The evening was made up of games, a Mexican Burritos Bar, sparklers and glow sticks – need we say any more! It couldn’t have been a better day and both Louie and I were made feel like guests who got to share and enjoy in everything that took place. It was an absolute pleasure to get to know both Kirsty & Dave and we are so happy that they invited us to share in their adventure.
