Tom & Aoife’s wedding was our first wedding in The Millhouse at Slane. It was one of the venues that we really wanted to shoot at and is now a definite favourite of ours.

There is so much scope for places to shoot, along with the food and the staff being amazing – pretty much the perfect ingredients for a brilliant wedding.

There was a bit of a late start to the day when the marriage certificate was left behind at Aoife’s home – which meant an hour’s return trip to their house. While Aoife waited patiently in one of the rooms, all the guests took the opportunity to get have a drink and have a chat. By the time Aoife’s mum came back Aoife was super chilled and said that all her nerves had completed evaporated.

A brilliant day spent with Aoife and Tom and their family and friends. We couldn’t finish without mentioning the best man speech – now, we have heard a lot of best man speeches over the years but this one had us in stitches!
