Woodland trails were swapped for gritty side streets and landscapes were exchanged for city backdrops. This was our last wedding of 2015, and our year couldn’t have finished in a better way.
Laura & Pete’s Belfast city centre wedding was completely different to any other wedding that we have shot.
They decided to do a ‘first look’ as they knew the light is so limited during winter months. There’s nothing more exhilarating than experiencing that excitement build before a first-look. To be alone with the groom, with the bride and see her nerves, the smiles, the clenched fists, the closed eyes as they prepare to meet each other – we love it all. After the ‘first look’ they walked up the steps of the City Hall where a small gathering of friends and family met as the said their vows before heading for afternoon tea in Robson & Clever. To end the night they partied hard at The Belfast Empire and their dance floor literally erupted even before the first dance finished. So many great moments from an unforgettable day and we’re so glad they invited us to tell their story.
