A true fusion of France and the Philipines. We were overjoyed when Angela & Paulin got in touch with us and asked us to come and shoot their wedding in Pemberton, Canada. Big thanks to the talented and awesome Tomasz Wagner for passing on our name and introducing us to Angela & Paulin. We had been wanting to visit Vancouver as Louie’s brother and fiancee live there so the timing couldn’t have been better.
B.C is captioned ‘Beautiful B.C’ and it was instantly clear that it was more than deserving of this title. The epic mountain backdrops were jaw-droppingly beautiful and we only just scratched the surface of all there is to explore. We definitely want to get back there some day.
Angela & Paulin’s wedding was our first fully outdoor wedding and even though the best part of the day was really stormy after the ceremony the sun broke through the clouds and we got to see the the ranch with its mountain range backdrop in all its glory.
It was a truly handmade affair – from the flowers picked from the garden the morning of the wedding to the wooden truses at the top of the aisle. Paulin also owns his own Macaroon company called Gourmand Macaron so he made all the macaroons for their cake and we can definitely vouch for them being the best we have ever tasted.
Another thing…the food….wow…beef strips straight off the BBQ…it was that good that the DJ who was a vegetarian couldn’t resist but have some – quite something to have on your résumé.
The dancing was Parov Stelar – All night. Have a listen to the tune as you scroll down through the dancing pics and I hope you can feel just how much energy these two have and the love they have for each other.
Two days later…..
