There are times when you receive an email when you can just tell how incredible a wedding is going to be. Lorraine got in touch with us as soon as she booked her date having followed our blog for a couple of years – it was the warmest email and we instantly knew it was going to be special day. The day itself was planned to be outside but as we drove up and watched as the sky turned blacker and blacker we knew there was a good chance it might have been moved inside. Lorraine and Andrew weren’t going to let it bother them at all; their wedding day was only about one thing – to get married with all the people closest to them by their side. Lorraine is a hugely talented musician and Andrew is a incredible Irish artist so while Lorraine and her friends looked after the music side of the day, Andrew made and found ways to decorate the awesome Limepark Arts and cottages. The music throughout the ceremony was something else with friends and family taking part and later on in the afternoon Lorraine herself along with her musician friends produced their instruments and set to play together whilst other guests sang.
We just loved the intimate feel to the day and how everyone pitched together to help them make their day so memorable – Andrew’s aunt decorated the whole barn with flowers from her garden whilst Lorraine’s friend made the cake and traveled it up the whole way from Cork. Their first dance was sang by one of their friends and we just loved the appearance of Andrew’s dance hat to finish of the night! 🙂
