One of our biggest dreams has been to shoot a New York Wedding and last September that dream came true. New York will always hold a special place in our hearts as we got engaged there 10 years ago so it was incredible to get back there and shoot a wedding in one New York’s most alternative venues, the incredible Metropolitan Building in Queens.

This building is such a magical space comprised of 4 floors each one more amazing than the last. It is such a unique space and you can choose how to decorate it with the many chairs, props scattered around the building. Roisin and Justin loved the vintage charm of the space and spent the next year finding and collecting old objects to decorate the venue to compliment the space further. Roisin from the beginning seeing the venue had a vision of what way she wanted the the space to look and feel like. The the dusty pinks and muted greens really complimented the the twist of industrial meets ornate vibe in the Metropolitan building. What a day it was for the New York natives and Irish family that travelled over, all to descend in Queens and have one epic party.

Roisin has been one of our longest followers of our work, she used to look at our stuff back in the Blackbox days and has followed it all the way through to now so we felt super privileged to be asked along to shoot the wedding.
