What can we say about this day other than it was an absolute joy to be part of. We have known both Ruth and Ross for many years now, Ross is the face behind the awesome ‘Soul & Rise videography’ and Ruth is a very talented photographer herself, so we were super chuffed to receive their email about shooting their wedding.

They held their whole day at Orange Tree House and it was our first time to experience this little gem on the shores of Strangford Lough. Ross and Ruth and their families did so much of the little touches themselves but they brought in some awesome Irish vendors to bring their ideas to life. When Ruth and Gillian from ‘Flowers by Mee’ put their heads together, they came up with a stunning copper arch and draped greenery …the perfect backdrop for Ruth and Ross’s ceremony. This coupled with the brilliant ‘Picture Bus’ really made their day unique.

After Ross & Ruth greeted their guests, they came to us and said ‘Lets go for a drive’, so they jumped into the back seat of our car without a plan of where to go, we explored the surrounding area hopping in and out of the car, shooting portraits as we went.
We absolutely loved the chilled, laid back feel to this day and it couldn’t have been more them. There was no better way to start of our wedding season for this year!
