The second shoot from our Canadian travels from last August. It almost feels like a dream when we look at these images. The water really was that blue even without the sun! We literally couldn’t believe our eyes as we walked through the woods, with Jessica & Brian, and saw the speckles of blue appear between the trees. The beauty of Joffre glacier lakes is truly stunning.

Brian & Jessica wanted to come out for an adventure shoot with us during our time in Canada and we couldn’t have been happier when they agreed to travel down from Langley outside Vancouver to Whistler for the shoot.
They are such a beautiful couple inside and out and anything we suggested they were up for – they couldn’t have made it any easier for us.
As we were shooting we watched the sky grow darker and darker and the cracks of the thunder rattle between the mountain peeks which soon erupted into a heavy rainstorm with brutal winds which unfortunately meant that the shoot had to be cut short. We ended up sprinting through the windy paths back to the car being chased by the rain.
As we drove away from Joffre Lake through the crazy storms Jess noticed an old Rodeo, we pulled over the car, looked at each other and all said ‘Lets go for it’. So, while standing in the old rodeo, in the middle of a sandstorm we finished up our shoot!

It really was such an  unforgettable experience and one shoot that will stay with us forever.
